“It’s Always Something” Understanding Chronic Crisis Patterns
Summary:
This workshop examines patterns of chronic crisis and how repeated escalation can function strategically within systems of care. It explores how predictable professional responses develop over time and contribute to systems fatigue and distorted decision-making. Participants will focus on understanding these dynamics and disengaging from escalation cycles without abandoning appropriate care.

Overview of Maternal Mental Health in Underserved Communities
Summary:
This presentation provides an overview of common maternal mental health conditions in underserved communities. Participants will examine the prevalence of maternal mental health challenges in underserved populations and explore how social determinants of health such as poverty, housing instability, and limited access to healthcare affect outcomes. The session will also highlight culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches to support mothers and families in communities where systemic and structural barriers to care persist.
